What is Eternal Wall?
Imagine the impact of a Christian Landmark that generates global attention, displays the infinite facets of God and declares the power of praying to Jesus.
Imagine it soaring 51 metres into the air. Imagine it being the biggest digital database of answered prayers in the world. A stunning piece of architectural art to provoke a conversation about prayer. A never-ending wall of a million bricks, each one digitally linked to a story revealing how Jesus has answered a specific prayer for an individual. This is Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer.
In Coleshill, near Birmingham, Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer is a 51-metre high landmark, including one million bricks. Each brick will tell a story of Jesus answering prayer. Visible from six miles away, it will be the largest database of answered prayer in the world.
What does their partnership with AFCU look like?
Eternal Wall approached the AFCU, asking whether we would encourage our members to bear witness to answered prayer and contribute to the 1 million testimonies they hope to gather. We agreed to do our best to find these testimonies.
We are extremely thankful to all of our members who have sent us testimonies of answered prayer; so far, we have received 408, which has been incredible.
We are also extremely thankful for Val Hall, who has overseen this project for AFCU, gathering and collating the testimonies from our members and then sharing them with Eternal Wall.
We were delighted to have Michelle Heritage and Emma Hodges from Eternal Wall at our 175th anniversary celebration at the start of June. On the day, both organisations took the opportunity to share about the partnership,
AFCU daily testimony of answered prayer.
After collating the testimonies from AFCU members, Val thought that it would be a shame if these testimonies from our own heritage within the AFCU were only in a place where many of our members would never stumble across them. So, to coincide with the 175th anniversary of the AFCU, we decided to publish a daily testimony of answered prayer for each day of 2026.

As Val said, ‘We have compiled 408 testimonies, and I cannot begin to tell you what an encouragement they have been to me; God has come through in answers to prayer in almost every sort of miracle, from bringing folk to a saving faith to saving our nation during the Second World War. However, it is also the quiet testimonies of discovering God in everyday life and experience that have spoken to me, and, in some cases, where God has said ‘No’ to the prayer being prayed but has, in His perfect timing, brought about something even more wonderful than what was actually requested!’
What do we need from you?
If you have watched the video referred to above, you will have seen Liesel, our Prayer and Pastoral Director, request AFCU, ‘let’s see if we can get to 500.’
This is where we need YOU, our AFCU members. We have 408 testimonies from the AFCU, but the target of 500 has now been set.

Your name will not be disclosed in the testimonies of answered prayer, and you will be kept anonymous.
It can be any answer to prayer that you have experienced or witnessed. As you will see from the testimonies on the AFCU website, every testimony is different and unique.
