Fellowship

Central to life in the AFCU family is the opportunity to builds strong bonds of fellowship. It’s more than just gathering; it’s about sharing life, encouraging one another, praying together, and knowing you’re deeply connected to others who walk a similar path of faith, especially within the unique context of military life. We believe that walking alongside fellow believers helps us to stand firm, grow strong, and experience the fullness of God’s love in community.

Seeking out fellowship: Wherever you are

We know that life in the Armed Forces often means frequent moves, new units, and deployments to distant lands. These transitions can sometimes make finding Christian fellowship feel challenging, but it’s precisely in these moments that it becomes even more vital. We encourage you to actively seek out fellowship, even in unexpected places like your workplaces and during deployments. Look for those who share your faith, for it’s in these shared connections that you’ll find encouragement, understanding, and a sense of belonging.

To help make these connections a little easier, we have velcro cloth badges available. These can be placed on backpacks, kit bags, or other visible items to subtly help you identify other Christians who might be serving alongside you. It’s a simple way to signal your faith and open doors for conversation and connection in new environments.

Contact the office to request a badge.
