Against a background of consistent prayer by numerous local churches and members of the Armed Forces’ Christian Union, so many of us who have served within the military have been protected through numerous journeys in lorries, vans, aeroplanes, tanks, and helicopters.
On many of these journeys we have been under attack from insurgents. In our bases we have been constantly mortared and had to cope with extreme climates etc. Even in Joint Headquarters, Rheindahlen, Germany, I was evacuated because of an unexploded WW2 bomb found in the mess grounds.
Just because we saw daily answered prayers does not make each answered prayer any less valuable.
