Forgiveness and Healing – Military Veteran

Before he could hardly walk
Forgiveness and Healing – Military Veteran

Having retired from the Army, I now head up Flame International, a charity whose mission is to release God’s healing, forgiveness and reconciliation to individuals and their land.

We were in Nzara, South Sudan, and Canon Esbon, of the Episcopal Church of South Sudan, came and told me he wanted to be healed. I suggested he needed to listen to the teaching. This church leader had a tragedy in his life, in that his wife had been kidnapped and killed by soldiers/terrorists.

He was very angry and carried a long knife around with him to kill the next soldier/terrorist he met.  One day in the church where we were teaching, we asked if there were any testimonies.

Canon Esbon came to the front of the church and did six press ups. We all clapped, and I was not sure of the significance of this exercise. He said that the moment he forgave the murderers of his wife his back was healed, and he could now do exercise, where before he could hardly walk.  We knew this was an answer to prayer. Praise Jesus!
