I went to the Ladies’ retreat weekend on 12-14 October 2012 at Amport House in Hampshire. My husband and I were having trouble getting pregnant, so I told a small group of ladies, who prayed all weekend for me.
A week later, on 21 October, I conceived. A little over 3 weeks later on 7 November I took a pregnancy test, and it came back positive!
The following weekend (16-18 November) I went back to Amport to help watch the kids for the weekend. While there I was prayed for that the baby was in the right place and that God would watch over me. (I was worried about a tubal pregnancy since I had a blocked tube.)
Seven weeks later after that second trip to Amport (13 weeks pregnant) I found out that my husband and I are having twins, and they are in the right place in the uterus and healthy. The power of prayer is amazing, and God has truly blessed my husband and me.
I am so thankful for all the wonderful prayers that all the ladies at Amport prayed the first weekend I was there. Also, for the prayer in November. God is Amazing!
