FAMILY CAMP/WEEKENDS

The Family Camp/Weekends aims to help our soldiers and families to build and enrich their relationships. This is done by offering popular courses in marriage and parenting as well as relaxing retreats for couples and families, where the week(end) is filled with fun family activities, spouse retreats, teaching, and much more.

GOFISH CAMP

GoFish British Armed Forces is a tri-service, evangelistic, high octane, fun packed faith based children’s camp. GoFish started in 2010 and has served over 730 forces families to date.

GoFish British Armed Forces has been the most subscribed club in the whole of British Forces for the last 7 years.  The camp is for 4-11 year old's with the aim to teach children about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the importance of the Bible.  We do this in a way that is action packed with games, snacks, crafts and bible study times with high impact, modern worship concerts.

Summer CAMP

The AFCU Summer Camp (formerly Easter Camp) has been running for over 94 years, Adam and Ruth Pyrke (Papa and Mama P) lead the camp with approx. 28 leaders.  Summer Camp is a tri-service, Christian based, fun packed, full residential week for 11-18 year old Armed Forces youth. It's aim is to help children and young people develop their faith and understand what it means to follow Jesus in their lives and world. This happens primarily through meetings, worship, Bible studies, games, activities and other amazing stuff.

Family Ministry Coordinators

In November of 2015 the AFCU identified a requirement to reach the Forces Families, and so appointed Adam and Ruth Pyrke as Family Ministry Coordinators. Adam and Ruth have been serving the Armed forces in a number of different ways since 2010.  You may recognise them as they have lead Summer clubs for children aged 4-11 and Family relationship strengthening weekends and courses in Germany.  Please check out their Personal Ministry page www.thepyrkes.com.Pyrkes Logo
